NATIONAL HOUSE BUILDING GUARANTEE SCHEME A MEETING NEW ROUTINES EXPLAINED

A short meeting for Solicitors to explain NHBGS new routines and answer any general questions that may arise will be held at the following venues on the stated dates.

TIME FOR EACH MEETING 5.30 PM (SHARP) Although we would like to go to many other centres, we hope that people will be prepared to travel to those chosen. We chose this time because it gives Solicitors an opportunity to clear their desk a little early, come to the hotel and get away at about 6.30 p.m. Also because we are at the hotel for an evening meeting with builders that starts at 8.00 p.m. We are changing the timing of the issue of the HG6 (our Guarantee Certificate) so that it should be available as one of the documents to be exchanged at close of sale or completion of contract. Solicitors will be aware of the influence of NHBGS and our involvement in all the houses built for sale — this is a chance to bring yourself up to date with the latest thinking on routines and rules. PLAN TO BE PRESENT There is no admission charge but we do wish to confine the meeting to Solicitors and those in their offices who deal with house sales and contracts. 4 f c
