Conduct of lot pursuant to Council Regulation 23

A lot amongst the ordinary members of the Council was conducted in the manner outlined in Council Regulation 23(ii). The following 16 ordinary members of the Council had their names drawn from a "hat" by the president and were deemed elected for a two-year period ending at the 1998 Annual General Meeting:
