The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg has a vacancy for a lawyer in its registry. The successfulapplicant will join trie small team of highly qualified lawyers who assist the Court in a variety
Applicants must normally be aged under 35. They must have a good law degree or a good degree in another discipline with a subsequent professional qualification as a solicitor or a barrister in Ireland or the United Kingdom. The ability to draft legal texts clearly, conciselyand elegantly is essential and experience as a legal practitioner will be an advantage. Applicants will also be expected to have a good knowledge of French. The post is one which requires initiative, discretion, a sense ofresponsibility
and the ability to work in a team. Remuneration and conditions of
