T h e S t a t u te of L imi t a t i o ns ( Am e n dm e n t) Act, 1991 substantially enacted the r e c omme n d a t i o ns c o n t a i n ed in the Comm i s s i o n 's Re p o rt o n Personal Injuries, ( LRC 21-1987) while the C r imi n al D a m a ge Act, 1991 was in substantial accord with the Comm i s s i o n 's r e c omme n d a t i o ns in its report o n Ma l i c i o us D a m a ge ( LRC 26 1988). T h e C omm i s s i on h o p es to publish a Re po rt on this in 1992. Du r i ng the year the Comm i s s i on wo r k ed o n the first d r a ft of a Discussion P a p er o n Ch o i ce of Law on Tort a n d a Discussion P a p er to deal with the f o r mu l a t i on of a c oh e r e nt sentencing policy. It is, therefore, mo re satisfactory f r om the po i nt of view of the practitioner w h o is s c a n n i ng the entire range of legal p r o b l ems to look for p a r t i c u l ar developments.
