David R. Pigot David R. Pigot was educated at Blackrock College and Trinity College, Dublin from where he graduated with Degrees of B.A.(Mod.) in Legal Science, and LL.B. (First class hons.) in 1950. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1951. He was a Dublin Solicitors Bar Association nominee to the Council in 1971 and was elected to the Council in 1972. He was President of the DSBA in 1975/6. He was Chairman of the Registrar's and Compensation Fund Committees in 1976 and 1977 and first Chairman of the Society's Litigation Sub-Committee in 1980, a position he held for three years. He is currently a member of the Public Relations, Finance, and Litigation Committees and one of the Society's nominees on the Superior Court Rules Committee. He has delivered lectures to the Society of Young Solicitors and Dublin Solicitors Bar Association and contributed articles to the Law Society's Gazette. He is a partner in Arthur Cox & Co., Solicitors, Dublin. He is married with three children.

James D. Donegan James D. Donegan, Senior Partner in Henry P.F. Donegan & Son, Solicitors, Cork and Cobh. He is the eldest son of the late Henry E. Donegan, Solicitor, and he is the fourth generation Solicitor in the family. He was educated at Christian Brothers College, Cork and qualified as a Solicitor in 1954. He is currently a member of the Southern Law Association and serves on the Registrar's and Professional Purposes Committees of the Society. He is married to Deirdre (née Keely) and they have five children. He has a keen interest in sailing and is a member of the Royal Cork Yacht Club.
