OBITUARY Mr. Dermot P. Shaw, solicitor, died in St. Vincent's Hospi^^ Elm Park, Dublin, on 4 April 1974. Mr. Shaw was admit te as a solicitor in Hilary Term 1930 and practised as seni° r partner in the firm of Messrs T. A. Shaw & Co., in Mulling ar ' and subsequently in Parliament Street, Dublin. Mr. Shaw a member of the Council for several years, was senior Vi C *T President of the Society in 1954-55, and President in 1955-5" ; he had lately also been a member of the Disciplinary Cod 1 ' mittee. Since it was established in April 1962, Mr. Shaw h a ^ been a member of the Committee on Court Practice a n Procedure. Mr. James Smith, solicitor, died at his residence in Arva, C 0- Cavan, on 30 March 1974.
