Mr. Kevin P. McMorrow, Solicitor died on 28th December, 1969. Mr. McMorrow served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. Kevin Corcoran of 4, Upper Ormond Quay, Dublin was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1943 and practised at Leopardstown Road, Sandy- ford, Co. Dublin. Mr. Frank R. Tully, Solicitor died on the 29th Dacember, 1969. Mr. Tully served his apprenticeship with the "The Income Tax Acts" loose-leaf volume "The Income Tax Acts" has now been published—price 8/6d. (postage 2/2d. extra). The supplement embodies the amendments made by the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1968, and the Finance Act, 1969, and includes a revised comprehensive index. late Mr. Thomas A. W. Purefoy, 3/4 Foster Place, Dublin, was admitted in Easter Sittings, 1942 and practised at la Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin. Mr. Gerard Sweetman, Solicitor died on the 28th January, 1970, following an accident. Mr. Sweetman served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. Frank Fottrell, 46 Fleet Street, Dublin, was admitted in Easter Sittings, 1930 and practised under the style of George D. Fottrell & Sons, 30, Lower Baggot Street, Dublin. Further supplementary pages have now been published—price 5/- (postage 8d. extra). This SIXTH REVISION incorporates the provisions relating to Stamp Duties contained in the FINANCE ACT, 1969, and in non- Revenue statutes passed in the year, 1968. THE SOLICITORS' BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION
The Association, which operates throughout the whole of Ireland, cares for Solicitors, their wives, widows and families, who have fallen on hard times. Last year over £2,000 was distributed in relief. Additional subscriptions, donations and bequests are urgently needed to continue and extend the Association's work.
