Solicitors wishing to use the Society's standard form of personal undertaking may incorporate it by reference and a letter from a solicitor undertaking to do certain things " in accordance with the con ditions in the Law Society's standard personal undertaking printed in the current edition of the Society's Calendar and Law Directory will be deemed to incorporate the following terms. (b) a solicitor should satisfy himself of his ability to fulfil an undertaking before giving it. (c) an undertaking given by a solicitor binds the firm in the absence of a stipulation to the contrary. (d) if no time limit is specified promise of per formance within a reasonable time having regard to the ordinary custom and practice of the profession and the circumstances is implied.
