Mr. Geary was admitted a Solicitor in Michaelmas Sittings, 1930, and was appointed Solicitor to the Department of Posts and Telegraphs, Dublin, in 1943. OBITUARY MR. JOSEPH KETT-O'SHEA, Solicitor, of Kilrush, is feared to have lost his life during a sailing expedition on the Shannon on yth November, 1946. Mr. O'Shea served his apprenticeship to Mr. Patrick P. P. O'Shea, Kilrush, was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1943, and practised at Kilrush. MR. WILLIAM GORDON BRADLEY, Solicitor, died at his residence, Roancroaghan, Killarney Road, Bray, on 5th December, 1946. Mr. Bradley served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. Arthur E. Bradley, of Dublin, was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1906, and practised at ii Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin, as a member of the firm of W. G. Bradley & Son until the year 1938 when he was appointed solicitor to the Great Southern Railways. In the year 1945 he resumed practice at n Lr. Ormond Quay, Dublin. Mr. Bradley.served on the council from 1922 to 1943 and was President of the Society for the year 1932-1933. MR. GEORGE CARR LETT, Solicitor, died at his residence, 48 Wellington Road, Dublin, on iyth December, 1946. Mr. Lett was apprenticed to the late Mr. George Carr Lett of Dublin, was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1899, and practised at 43 Dame Street, Dublin, up to the year 1907. From 1907 to 1930 he practised LEGAL APPOINTMENT

under the style of Lett & Fetherstonhaugh at 23 Ely Place, Dublin, and from 1930 up to the time of his death in his own name at the same address.

MR. ARTHUR G. JOYCE, Solicitor, died in Dublin on 2ist December, 1946. Mr. Joyce served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. George P. Cussen of Dublin, and the late Mr. Michael C. O'Meara of Dublin, was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1897, and practised at 121 St. Stephen's Green, Dublin. MR. GEORGE F. MONTGOMERY, Solicitor, died at a Dublin Nursing Home, on 29th December, 1946. Mr. Montgomery was admitted a Solicitor in Trinity Sittings, 1891, and practised at Longford up to the year 1926, when he was appointed County Registrar for Longford. In 1937 he retired from that office and carried on practice at Longford until the year 1939. MR. WILLIAM S. COLLIS, Solicitor, died at his residence, Kilmore, Killiney, Co. Dublin, on 2nd January, 1947. Mr. Collis was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1882, and practised at 13 Clare Street, Dublin, as senior partner in the firm of Collis & Ward. MR. FREDERICK H. HALL, Solicitor, died in London on 4th January, 1947. Mr. Hall served his apprenticeship with the late Mr. Frederick Hall, Cork, was admitted in Trinity Sittings, 1914, and practised in Cork under the style of Frederick Hall & Son. Mr. Hall was an ex-President of the Southern Law Association and was for some years an extra– ordinary member of the Council of this Society.
