IN case you have not already completed and returned to the Society the questionnaire on solicitors' earnings and office expenses, you are asked to do so without delay. If your books are audited you can save trouble by asking your auditor to complete the answers to questions III, IV, and V. As the form may be returned unsigned absolute secrecy and anonymity is ensured. A copy of the question naire was sent to each member of the Society. The form also seeks information as to the ratio of the amount of profit costs to the gross value of estates in order to enable the Council to decide whether or not it would be advisable to seek for an alteration in the present system of furnishing detailed bills in connection with the administration of estates, and members are asked to give particular attention to this query.
