THE PRESIDENT, addressing the meet– ing, said : Gentlemen, in moving the adoption of the Annual Report of the Council I would refer with much regret to the death of Mr. Charles Battley, a former member of the Council, which has taken place since the date of our Report. I have already referred at the meeting of the Society held last May to the deaths of other past members of the Council, which are recorded in our Report.

HALF-YEARLY GENERAL MEETING. The Half-yearly General Meeting of the Society was held in the Hall of the Society, Solicitors' Buildings, Four Courts, Dublin, on Monday, the 26th November.
