The June Intermediate Examination will be held on Friday, the 21st June, 1929, in the Royal College of Surgeons, St. Stephen's Green, Dublin, at ten o'clock, a.m. Notices from apprentices of intention to attend should be lodged in the Secretary's Office, 45 Kildare Street, Dublin, before 1st June. THE SOCIETY'S CALENDAR. The Calendar and Law Directory of the Society for 1929 can be obtained in the Secretary's Office, 45 Kildare Street, Dublin, price five shillings ; by post, five shillings and sixpence. A candidate for the Professorship must be either a Barrister or a Solicitor, and he should send his application before 1st July to the Secretary of the Society, 45 Kildare Street, Dublin. The Professor will be required to deliver forty-two lectures between the months of September and July, and to conduct viva voce examinations in the subjects of his lectures. Enquiry for further particulars should be addressed to the Secretary. IRISH MANUSCRIPTS COMMISSION. The Government has set up the Irish Manuscripts Commission for the purpose of reporting, inter alia, on the location, extent and nature of all Irish historical manuscript and other documentary material of import ance, whether in Ireland, or contained in collections outside Ireland. The Council, in compliance with a request received from the Commission, commend this matter to the members of the Incor porated Law Society of Ireland, and express the hope that when they receive from the Commission a letter requesting such informa tion of the nature sought for by the Com mission as may be in their possession, they will respond to the request.
