Notices from apprentices of their intentions to attend the examination should be lodged in the Secretary's Office, 33 Molesworth Street, Dublin, before 15th December. The Preliminary Examination will be held on 9th and 10th January. Notices of intentions to attend the examination should be lodged in the Secretary's Office, 33 Moles- worth Street, Dublin, before 15th December. Both of these Examinations will be held in the Royal College of Surgeons, Saint Stephen's Green, West, Dublin, at 10 o'clock a.m., each day. At the Final Examination, held on the llth, 12th and 13th October, the following passed the examination, and their names are arranged in order of merit : — 1. John M. Salmon. ] Charles J. Downing. James J. Matthews. Patrick Glynn, B.A., T.C.D. Joseph J. Little. A Special Certificate was awarded to John M. Salmon. t Eleven candidates attended : 5 passed ; 6 were postponed. 2. 3. 4. 5. Scholarships, 1922. The Findlater Scholarship was awarded to Christopher T. F. Russell, B.A., N.U.I., who obtained a Gold Medal at the October, 1921, Final Examination. He served his apprenticeship with Mr. Maurice Healy of Cork. The Overend Preliminary Examination Scholarship was awarded to John H. Bergin, who is serving his apprenticeship with his father, Mr. M. S. Bergin, of Dublin. The Overend Final Examination Scholar ship was awarded to James Hanna, who obtained a Silver Medal at May, 1922, Final Examination. He served his apprenticeship with Mr. Herbert MeWilliam, of Ballybay.
