Francis M. Graham. 4. John Hollinger. 5. James Malseed. 6. John A. Lavan. 7. Richard G. H. Carter, B.A., T.C.D. A Silver Medal was awarded to Edmund Carroll, and a Special Certificate to William J. V. Comerford. 14 Candidates attended ; 13 passed ; 1 was postponed. Preliminary Examinations, 1923. A Silver Medal was awarded to Desmond Counahaii. Scholarships, 1923 The Findlater Scholarship was awarded to John R. Halpin, B.A., T.C.D., who obtained first place and a Silver Medal at the January, 1923, Final Examination. He served his apprenticeship with his father, Mr. ' W. H. Halpin of Erskine Terrace, Cavan. The Overend Preliminary Examination Scholarship was awarded to Desmond Counahan, who is serving his apprenticeship with Mr. Robert Kieran of Dublin. of Costs contained in the County Court Rules of July, 1923, made under Section 19 of the Act, was read. The letters and resolu tions were referred to the Costs and County Courts Committee jointly to consider. Land Act, 1923. The question of the preparation of a scale of remuneration by commission for Owners' Solicitors for carrying out sales under this Act, was referred to the Land Act Committee. Annual Report. The Draft Annual Report of the Council was considered and adopted. Appointments. MR. VALENTINE WILSON, Solicitor, Porta- down, has been appointed Sub-Sheriff for the County of Armagh, in room of Mr. T. W. Kilpatrick, retired. Grants of Probate and Administration. A notice has been issued by the Registrar, requesting Solicitors to lodge with the Record Keeper, Principal Registry, Dublin Castle, all original wills and papers leading to grants which have been issued from the Principal Registry from 27th April, 1922 to 30th April, 1923. These papers will be received by the Record Keeper on Mondays and Thursdays, between 12 and 2 o'clock. Examination Results. Herbert McCloughan and John J.
