Obituary. MR. GEORGE R. SCOTT, Solicitor, died upon the 6th March, .1923, at his residence, 123 Woodstock Avenue, Golders Green, London. Mr. Scott was admitted in Michaelmas Sittings, 1884, and practised at 63 Dawson Street, Dublin, up to 1922. Mr. THOMAS C. FRANKS, Solicitor, died upon the 7th March, 1923, at his residence, 23 Clyde Road, Dublin. Mr. Franks served his apprenticeship with his father, the late Mr. Thomas Franks ; was admitted in Michaelmas Term, 1867, and practised (in partnership with Mr. John G. Oulton) at 21 Lower Fitzwilliam Street, Dublin, under the style of Franks and Oulton. He was a member of the Council of the Society from 1880 to 1912, and was President of the Society for the year 1891-92. Appointments. Mr. William McA. McCracken, Solicitor, has been appointed Under Sheriff for the County of Dublin. His office is at 92 Middle Abbey Street, Dublin. Mr. Francis Hanrahan, Solicitor, Cork, has been appointed Under Sheriff for the County of Cork. New Members. The following have joined the Society :- Michael J. Kierans, Drogheda. John J.
