Petitions from two Law Clerks for liberty to be bound under Section 16, and reports of the Court of Examiners thereon, were con sidered, and both petitions were granted. July SQih. Death of the Right Hon. Mr. Redmond Barry. A letter was read from Mrs. Redmond Barry thanking the Council for their resolution of sympathy. Death of Mr. G. B. Wilkins. The following resolution was passed :— " The Council have learnt with deep regret " of the death of their colleague, Mr. G. B. " Wilkins, and they desire to express their " sympathy with the relatives of Mr. Wilkins " in their bereavement." Touting Circular. A letter was read from a country member enclosing a circular letter received by a client from a London " compensation agency ''

July 2 Special Examiners.

THE Council re-appointed Mr. Charles H. Denroche, B.A., LL.D., R.U.I., Solicitor, and Mr. Frank V. Gordon, B.A., ex-Scholar, T.C.D., Solicitor, as Special Examiners for 1914. Certificates. Applications by two Solicitors for renewal of their Certificates were considered and were granted. July L6th. Death of the Right Hon. Mr. Redmond Barry. The following resolution was passed and a direction given that a copy be sent to Mrs. Redmond Barry :— " The Council of the Incorporated Law " Society of Ireland desire to express their " deep regret at the death of the Right Hon. " Mr. Redmond Barry, ex-Lord Chancellor " of Ireland, and to convey to Mrs. Barry an " assurance of their profound sympathy in " her bereavement." Dublin Agencies. A letter was read asking the opinion of the Council upon a proposed limited liability company, the shares in which were intended should be held exclusively by Solicitors, and the primary object to be the carrying on of town agency work in Dublin for country Solicitors.
