The Hilary Sittings shall commence on the llth January and terminate on the Wednesday before Easter Sunday when Easter Sunday falls on or before the 6th day of April, and on the Thursday week before Easter Sunday when Easter Sunday falls on or after the 7th day of April. The Easter Sittings shall commence on the Wednesdayafter Easter weekwhen EasterSun- day falls on or before the 6th day of April, and on the Thursday in Easter week when Easter Sunday falls on or after the 7th day of April, and terminate on the Wednesday before Whit Sunday when Whit Sunday falls on or before the 25th day of May, and on the Wednesday week before Whit Sunday when Whit Sunday falls on or after the 26th May. And Trinity Sittings shall commence on the Wednesday after Whitsun week when Whit Sunday falls on or before the 25th May, and on the Wednesday after Whit Sunday when Whit Sunday falls on or after the 26th May and terminate on the 31st of July. Public Trustee. IN the House of Commons on the 12th June, Sir Thomas Esmonds asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he would state what the difficulties are connected with the Con solidated Fund which may prevent the introduction of the Bill to establish a Public Trustee for Ireland this Session by the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland. Mr.. Lloyd George.— In view of the changes contemplated under the Government of Ireland Bill it would be impracticable to impose on the Consolidated Fund of the United Kingdom a contingent charge in respect of the guarantee necessary for the working of a Public Trustee Department in Ireland. Such a charge, were a Public Trustee for Ireland subsequently appointed, must necessarily be borne by the Irish Consolidated Fund. In the House of Commons on the 2fith July, Sir Thomas Esmonds asked the Chief Secretary if he is aware that the appointing of the existing Public Trustee in Ireland as Public Trustee for general purposes need make no difference to his already-established relations with the Consolidated Fund ; and if, in the circumstances, he will proceed with

NOTICE is hereby given, in accordance with the Rules Publication Act, 1893, that the Rule-Making Authority proposes to make as Statutory Rules the Draft Rules set out in the Schedule hereto. And notice is hereby further given, that copies of such Draft Rules may be obtained by any public body during forty days from the date of this notice at the office of the Clerk of the Council, Dublin Castle, and all representations or suggestions in reference to said Draft Statutory Rules are within such period of forty days to be sent in writing to the Clerk of the Council, Dublin Castle Dated this 25th day of June, 1913. Rule I. of Order LXIII. of the Rules of the Supreme Court (Ireland), 1905, is hereby annulled, and in lieu thereof the following rule shall be substituted, and shall come into operation on the day of 1. The Sittings of the Court of Appeal and the Sittings in Dublin of the High Court shall be four in every year, viz., the Michaelmas Sittings, the Hilary Sittings, the Easter Sittings, and the Trinity Sittings.
