IRELAND. EXAMINATION RESULTS.

SCHOLARSHIPS, 1920. The Findlater Scholarship has been awarded to Bernard B. Hoy. The Overend Preliminary Examination Scholarship has been awarded to Eugenie R. Hoy. The Overend Final Examination Scholarship has been awarded to John V. S. Mills B.A., T.C.D. By Order, WM. GEO. WAKELY, Secretary. Solicitors' Buildings, Four Courts, Dublin, 3rd November, 1020.

AT the Preliminary Examination for candidates applying to be bound as Apprentices to Solicitors, held on the 4th and 5th October, the following passed the examination and their names are arranged in order of merit : — 1. Frederick H. Charles

2. Samuel Gumming 3. Adelaide M. Quin 4. Peter McMahon 5. Albert W. Briscoe

James P. Coghlan, Michael Kavanagh, Alfred A. Rourke, Frederick Simpson and Alexander K. Steele, junr., have passed the modified pre liminary examination for which they had liberty to present themselves. The remaining candidates are postponed. PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION PMZES, 1920. The Council have awarded a Silver Medal to Eugenie R. Hoy. At the Final Examination for Apprentices applying for admission as Solicitors, held on llth, 12th, and 13th October, the following passed the examination, and their names are arranged in. order of merit : — 1. John V. S. Mills, B.A., T.C.D. 2. Peter Fox 3. Augustus Cullen 4. Bernard A. Lee, B.A., N.U.I. 5. Francis Gallagher, B.A., N.U.I. 6. Michael A. Conroy 7. Eric C. Doogan 8. Robert A. Tougher 9. Joseph P. Walshe, B.A., N.U.I. 10. Charles T. Denroche 11. William T. McCarthy. The remaining candidates are postponed. The Council have awarded Silver Medals to John V. S. Mills, B.A., T.C.D., and Peter Fox.
