The Council have awarded Special Certi ficates to Edward A. Margetson, William E. Godfrey, B.A., T.C.D., and John Ryan. Thirty candidates attended- 19 pas?ed; 11 were postponed. Scholarships, 1925. The Findlater Scholarship has been awarded to Samuel Love, who obtained first place and Silver Medal at the October, 1924, Final Examination. He served his apprentice ship with Mr. George T. Harley, of Messrs. R. H. Wallace and Co., Downpatrick. The Overend Preliminary Examination Scholarship has been awarded to Patrick J. Kiely, who is serving his apprenticeship with Mr. F. V. Gordon, of Dublin. The Overend Final Examination Scholar ship has been awarded to William E. Godfrey, B.A., T.C.D., who served his apprenticeship to Mr. T. F. Figgis, of Dublin.

and Thomas A. O'Donoghue passed the modified Preliminary Examination, for which they had liberty to present themselves. Twenty candidates attended; all passed. Joseph Preliminary Examination Prizes, 1925. The Council awarded a Silver Medal to Patrick J. Kiely, and Special Certificates to Mary E. Smith and Eugene Bcland. Final Examination.
