At the Preliminary Examination of Candidates seek– ing to become Apprentices to Solicitors, held on 16th and 17th October, the followiug were allowed the examination, and their names are arranged in order of merit : 1. At the Final Examination of Apprentices seeking admission to the Profession, held on 18th and 19th October, the following were allowed the examination, and their names are arranged in order of merit: 11. Frederick W. Law. 12. Joseph W. Galloway, B.A., T.C.D. 13. George C. Macrory. 14. John A. Osborne, jun. 15. George M. Koox. 1. Jasper T. Wolfe. 2. Thomas Elliott. 3. William O'Doherty. 4. Robert B. Wray, B.A., Q.TJ.I. 5. John G. Reid. 20. George C. Moyets. The remaining candidates have been postponed. The Conrt of Examiners have awarded a gold medal to Jasper T. Wolfe ; silver medals to Thomas Elliott •• and Wm. O'Doherty, and special certificates to Robert B. Wray, John G. Reid, and Wm. Lynch. The Findlater Scholarship for 1893 has been to Francis M.
