At the preliminary examination of candidates seeking to become apprentices to solicitors, held upon the 12th and 13th October, the following passed the examination, •and their names are arranged in order of merit:—

At the final examination of apprentices seeking ad mission as solicitors, held upon 14th and 15th October, the following candidates passed the examination, and their names are arranged in order of merit:—

The Court of Examiners have awarded gold medals to William Thomas Mackay .and F. G. M'Keever, a silver medal to John Byers, and special certificates to John F. Kelly, William I. Good, M. M.
